Not the best picture or the most rare piece of art, but I can’t remember seeing such happy looking Egyptian statues ever. You can even see one kid has his arm around the other – thought that was a modern day mannerism?

I’ll bet this lone skeleton gets ten times the attention of most of the Greek gods or Christian sculptures. He (She?) has a little edge that sets him apart from the other sculptures in the Louvre.
